Exaudian Consulting was founded by Robert S. Wert, a Chicago-area attorney. While participating in negotiations with executives who were trained in PCM, he was struck by their ability to control the tone of the negotiations and to reach a win/win position with far less effort than in comparable transactions. He later learned that PCM had been used to great effect in several jury trials.
After learning more about the model, Mr. Wert began considering other legal applications and became convinced that PCM could be used effectively by all practitioners. Mr. Wert approached Dr. Kahler with his idea of forming a consulting company with the primary mission of training attorneys in the use of PCM. Dr. Kahler was enthusiastic and offered both to assist him in creating a PCM course of study focused on the legal profession and to grant him the exclusive right to provide PCM training to attorneys in the United States. With that encouragement, Mr. Wert formed Exaudian Consulting.
While Exaudian Consulting is unique in its work with attorneys, it offers PCM training for executives, managers and professionals in nearly all areas of endeavor, as well as individualized consulting and coaching services for businesses, individuals, families and educators. Exaudian Consulting's services are provided primarily by Mr. Wert, although a network of other trainers is available should the need arise. All trainers used by Exaudian Consulting are certified PCM trainers.
Exaudian Consulting's name is derived from the Latin word “exaudio” - to listen or hear plainly - the key to the successful practice of PCM.
